  5. Installation:

  8. -Unzip the archive into a directory of your choice
  9. -Start the installation program (install.cmd)
  10. -You can now start MainActor/2 from your desktop
  11.  
  12. Have a look into the documentation for information
  13. on how to install TIMER0.SYS and DIVE.
  14.  
  15. Make sure to read the documentation and the online help
  16. to make the most of MainActor/2.
  17.  
  18. Suggestions are always welcome.

  20. What is MainActor:
  21. ------------------

  23. MainActor is a modular multimedia processing package. You can load / edit /
  24. play and save / convert many animation and picture formats, we emphasize
  25. on animation formats though. MainActor is available for OS/2 and
  26. Windows 95 / NT4.0.
  27.  
  28. A full featured sequencer with audio and video effects is in preparation.
  29.  
  30. The shareware version of MainActor is fully functional, you will have to deal
  31. with an annoying requester though.
  32.  
  33. The requester appears

  35. * at startup for 5 seconds
  36. * when openening the save window for 5 seconds
  37. * after saving every tenth frame for 2 seconds
  38.  
  39. Please register MainActor if you use it on a regular basis. Use beyond a 31
  40. day evaluation period is prohibited without registration.
